As the NUCPP continues its work with those involved, we will monitor the status of the Butch Lewis Emergency Pension Plan Relief Act Final Rules as they are released. The process of funding the over 200 underfunded multiemployer pension funds that are eligible for the Special Financial Assistance Plan is complex and will take time to complete. During this time, it is necessary for the NUCPP to stay involved and watchful. By the NUCPP staying committed, our members can be assured that they will continue to be informed and will be notified if there is any action necessary on their part. The Annual Membership of $60 is used only for expenses incurred as part of the mission to see that the hard-earned pensions of the retirees and active members are received as promised.
